ANTIQUE CHINESE EXPORT ROSE MEDALLION COVERED JAR NO RESERVE AUCTION!! Up for auction and for your consideration is a beautiful, antique Rose Medallion covered jar. The jar has been hand painted with panels of people in courtyard scenes, birds, flora and fauna. The jar measures approximately 4 ¾” high by 3 ¾” wide. The piece is unmarked except for the small “X” & “ll” pattern marked on the inner side of the lid – please see photos. This piece most likely dates from the second half of the 19 th century. Condition: This jar is in very good condition with normal wear appropriate to its age. There are some small “flea-bites” or tiny nicks to the top of the jar on the inside – please see photos as they do not detract from the piece. There are no cracks or repairs. Overall, a gorgeous jar!! SHIPPING All shipping is CALCULATED by weight and destination. At this time I do NOT ship internationally!
