This is the front arch or portal of a Chinese wedding bed. Constructed of elm and finished with oyster shell and gilt accents. The carvings of warriors and foliage are in excellent antique condition with nicks and losses commensurate with age. Please refer to pictures and inspect them for your satisfaction as to condition before bidding. The last one was taken indoors, with flash, and shows the warmer tones of the piece.This arch makes a statement in any room. The dimensions are 79.5" wide by 7 feet (84") tall. We do not have the bed platform or surround.The arch disassembles for easy transport. All sales are final. LOCAL PICKUP ONLY.
