civil war virginia military institute cadet button approx. 20mm in diameter front showing liberty stepping out trinity with cadet accross the top and V.M.I. accross the bottom on a striped field, with plenty of original gold still showing. the backmark is from D. Evans & co. attleboro in a banner with a daisy at the top. shank is straight and secure there are no dents or pushmarks very nice button, any questions please feel free to ask and thanks for looking
