Just found in the attic of my last estate purchase was a swords and a bayonets in the rafters of the attic. Each item being offered will be in seperate auctions. This sword has the partial name Scl ????. and has the number 11 stamped on it in a couple of places. T is no scabbard for the sword. Handle looks to be solid brass and the blade looks to have several tiny dings on the edge of the blade. Nothing more than tiny indents. I'm guessing that its Civil War. Overall length of the sword is approx. 38. inches long. Hopefully the photos will tell you more. Buyer pays $12.00 s&h in US. Be sure to check out my other Military weapons being offered this week.
