Up for bid is an antique Clear Opalescent bottle. The bottle is a hobnail design and a six pointed star base at the bottom of the bottle. The bottle is about 8in in length and is 3 1/4in wide. The lip on the bottle is a flared lip. I can't make out the pontil on the bottom b/c of the star design that is t T are a couple of chipped hobnails and a tiny chip on the base. The bottle looks to be hand molded or mouth blown b/c of the distinct shape. The bottle is definitely not from an original mold. It was formed while being blown and shaped. This is a really beautiful looking hobnail bottle. Any collector of hobnail bottles would love to add to their collection. The bottle has a high end appraisal of $125.00 as is.
