Wonderful rare antique clock. The only name I see is Camerdent & Forster New York on the front dial. It has porcelain enameld panels with birds and flowers, very Edwardian in design, and great detail. The clock is 12&1/2" tall the base is 6 x 8, 6&1/2" across the front panel and sides are 4&1/2". It has a beveled glass door on front, and a frosted on back so the works dont show. Vey nice condition, no damage, a little wear on a few spots on the dial, I would guess from hands rubbing thru the years. I would guess this clock from the 1870's era. It is running, the pendulum has been soldered in a spot. This clock is from an estate, and a family heirloom. The family story is it was salvaged during the 1906 San Francisco earthquake, saved from one of the grand hotels of that day, and been in the family ever since. Really a beautiful amaizing clock!
