Antique Closed-Mouth Bisque Doll Sockethead - Mold 204. I have kept this beautiful head for years, trying to research her, with no success. Time for someone else to give it a try! She is marked "204" on the back of the head, and "10" on the neck socket. The head measures 4" from top of head to base of neck socket and has a circumference of 9 1/4". She should finish up to about 14-16" when a proper body is added. She has closed mouth, original blue stationary eyes, pierced ears, and a dimple in her chin. There is a small red dot at the inside corners of her eyes. No damage - excellent condition, with nice facial coloring. I always felt that this was a German Kestner, but can't be sure.
