Antique COIN SCALE Automatic SOVEREIGN and GUINEA 1830 The item(s) in this auction is part of a scale related collection assembled by a 31 year member of the International Society of Antique Scale Collectors (ISASC). This collection consists of 400 individual scales, 250 coin weights, many other weight sets, individual weights of other types, books, photos, and other scale related paper items. All of these items will be offered in the following months. It is our intention that each auction increment offered for sale will consist of 20 or more lots. Intentions are that each of these auction increments represent a variety of selection rather than concentrating on a particular style or type. Each new auction lot will open before close of the previous. The vintage of most items date from 1700 lot 1850. All lots will be offered on this site. For Auction: One unique automatic scale for weighing the Sovereign, the Half Sovereign, the Guinea and the Half-Guinea. Missing the Half-Sovereign weight. Scale in the overlap period when both the Guinea and the Sovereign were in use.
