Please read entire ad so there is no confusion.To begin with, this machine does not work and is being sold for restoration and or parts.As I continue to downsize my collection, this Columbus Model M is cast iron and porcelain and all original. This is a Pistachio vender and the flexor bars move freely.Production of these machines began in 1928 but not many were released until the patent in 1930.I have no idea the exact year this was made.I have not done any restoration on this machine.The handle that slides when a coin is inserted only moves slightly. Machine will not vend unless handle slides all the way to the coin entry. Machine is corroded so a good cleaning "might" resolve the problem. The return spring was inside the globe when I made this purchase and it will be included.The "Octagon" globe has some flaking on the bottom. Some scratches which are to be expected with a vender this old but the globe is "very" solid. I took a picture of the worst scratch. The globe needs new gaskets.The name "Columbus" above the star on the globe is very legible.This vender comes with the original rubber feet and I will let the new owner decide to leave original or replace.Aside from new locks, everything is original even the gaskets for the globe.Some easy assembly will be required since I will pack the globe separately but ship it in the same read more
