Compagnie des Telephones Thomson-Houston candlestick telephone type A62895, no. 5284. The handset design was an attempt at avoiding contamination when using a telephone. The handset, referred to by the manufacturer as a "monopone or diaphone" and commonly referred to as a "steer horn" and featured "ease of cleaning" as the leading feature, c.1920s. 11" high. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
