Antique Completely Embroidered Kashmiri/Paisley piano shawl, scarf,19th cent. Description This week I am listing pieces from a collection of 19th century Paisley, Kashmiri, Delhi, and Kerman shawls. A beautiful, very large, completely embroidered antique 19th century Kashmiri/Paisley shawl with a black wool center: 73" x 71"*The small black center has tears and separations. It needs a backing. Embroidery is lavish and stunning. Colors are handsome and vibrant. In pictures 19 and 20 remnants of a signature can be seen. Other than the center, the shawl is in very good condition. Most likely, Kashmir, 19th century. A very good addition to a textile collection. Payment must be made no later than within 3 days of the close of auction. The shawl in a box weighs about 4 pounds. Shipping: Flat fee of $18.00 USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation within the US. Outside the US, USPS International Express Mail, e-mail for amount. Item will be shipped the following day (unless the following day is a Sunday) after payment is made.
