Here is a very scarce and desirable antique 19th century Copeland Late Spode large water pitcher featuring a raised design of rugby players on a green background. Pitcher measures about 8 1/4" tall to top of handle and about 8 1/4" across handle to spout. It is in excellent condition overall with no chips or cracks. There are some surface marks to the exterior as from normal handling/use over the years. There are some areas of glaze wear on the interior toward the bottom (see photos).
