This auction is for and amazingly heavy and hand made copper sauce pan with bronze handle marked Leon Jaeggi & Sons Ltd. Manufacturing Coppersmiths, London. Additionally marked with an English and Swiss flag and "Helvetia". A third mark hand inscribed P & H.The top of the sauce pan is 5 1/8" in diameter and 2" high. Overall with the handle it is 10". It weighs an amazing 32 ounces. The heaviest gauge copper pot (for its size) that I have owned. The bronze handle is secured with three heavy rivets. I took quite a few pictures so that you can see both the quality and the many marks from use. It retains no tinning on the interior. The obvious age and marks of use give this exceptional sauce pan a great antique look. Perfect for display in your kitchen. I found several references to Leon Jaeggi dating this piece from late Victorian to early 20th century. Please see my other auctions for three French antique Trottier molds. Always happy to answer questions and combine shipping.
