Antique Bronze Glass Nail Head Sew-on Beads Description Lot of Antique Bronze Glass Nail Head sew-on beads This lot of Antique pressed glass beads dates to around the 1900's. These are nail head sew-on beads in a rich metallic coppery bronze color that looks like liquid metal. Facetted on top, flat back. I like to use these wired or sewn down to form the center of flowers but they look good strung along as a necklace (try a daisy chain weave with seed beads and these as centers). These also look fantastic worked into beaded trim and tassels , in crazy quilts, on doll clothes (great little shoe or dress buttons). Each bead measures a tiny 3.5 mm in diameter x 2.5 mm thick. This lot is one original hank consisting of 250 beads. _________________________________________________________ Possible uses for this bead: Jewelry, Beaded Tassels, Beaded Fringe, Beaded Lace, Period Costume Embellishments, Doll Clothing Enhancements, Artwork, Crazy Quilt Creations, Bead Loom work, Embroidery. Suggested companion beads: Seed beads are a natural with these as are vintage montees but it is hard to imagine a beads these won't work with._______________________________________________________ Lots of new items in my ebay store.... to take a peek, CLICK .
