Antique Art Glass Covered jar - this jar is a little smaller than typical biscuit or cracker jars I believe it is Crown Milano by Mt. Washington, but jar is not marked Markings on lid 4697/58, marking on top of metal collar 4697/52 Satin finish Opal glass painted pale yellow toward base with a peach blush at top - burmese coloring Decorated with oak leaves and acorns - fall colors - green, light brown, gold, reddish brown Design elements outlined in gold Just over 7 3/8" to top of handle when raised 4 5/8" to top of metal rim No chips or cracks found Metal has vintage patina From estate auction - I did not try to polish metal
