Estate Sale Find! You're bidding on an assortment of 47- 2 and 4 minute U.S. Everlasting brand Cylinder records. T are 14 -2 minute cylinders and 1-2 minute Grand Opera Cylinder. T are 29-4 minute cylinders and 3-4 minute Grand Opera Cylinders The 2-minute titles are: Lead Kindly Light, Waiting for the Robert E.Lee (2-copies), Tanhauser Grand March, Return to the Fields, I Need Thee Every Hour, I'd Love to be in Loveland(with a girl like you), God Be With You (till we meet again), Iffa-Saffa-Dill, Fireflies, ABide With Me, My Killarney Rose, Lady Angeline and Anvil Chorus. The 2-minute Grand Opera title is Das koenit's Gebet ( with the exception of Anvil Chorus, which has no lid, all have the original red/white and black sleeves and the correct lids.) The 4-minute titles are: Bedouin Love Song, Love Me, Cavilleria Rusticana, YOu've Changed the Winter In My Heart( to glad spring time),In MAytime and the Red Red Rose, U.S. Minstrels #3, Sarga Osere Bogar, Oh! You Tease, The Battle Cry of Freedom, My Hero, Oh! My Redeemer, Mine, You'll Do the Same Thing Over Again, Dreams Just Dreams, Cavalry Charge, TheGirl of My Dreams, I Hear You Calling Me, Gypsy Love Song, Kol Nidrai, The Snow Breasted Pearl, I'm Afraid Pretty Maid, Play That Barbershop Chord*, Thouroghbred*, My Rosa*,For Every Boy Who's Lonley*, The Force in the Forrest*, Favorite and Victorious March*, Nora Malone*,and My Wild Irish Rose*. The 4-minute Grand Opera titles are :Ange Pure, Canzone De Toreador and William Tell. (The 4-minute cylinders marked with * do not have lids, all others have the original brown/black/white sleeves and the correct lids. I haven't played any of these so am selling them "as is and shown" with no returns! No International Bidders Please! Someone asked that I check each cylinder for splits and I did. I found that "God Be With You Till We meet Again", "Mine", "Fireflies" and "You'll Do the Same Thing Over Again" are split and unplayable. "I Need Thee Every Hour" has what appears to be a deep cut, or dig, in a couple of grooves about 1 1/2" from the start so it too may not be playable. The surfaces on all the others look ok but that's all I can say for them. I apologize for not doing this sooner. I received another inquiry regarding the condition of the containers on the 4 Grand Opera Cylinder containers. The 2-minute, Das Koenig's Gebet, has a stain that's turned the blue color black. The stain starts on the bottom edge, before the word Opera, extends up just barely catching the bottom of the "O" in opera and going down it catches the bottom tail of the "P" in opera. The actual container is bright blue with gold lettering. The William Tell 4-minute had a little discoloration, about 1/2" tall x 1" long at the bottom but not like a moisture stain but it does not affect any of the gold printing. The Toreador 4-minute has a black stain approximately half way around the container but just barely catches the tail of the "P". Ange Pure has the same type of stain which extends over the entire word "Opera". The only other thing I notice is that all 3 of the 4-minute containers are much darker in color than the 2-minute one, almost a bluish purple. The 4-minute containers are all in approximately the same condition but are intact. These are very old so the condition is not going to be "like new". I've described all to the best of my ability, so please bid accordingly with the understanding that they're are being sold in "as is and found condition" on a no return basis! read more
