Exquisite1920'sCzechGlass BeadedFruit Basket Lamp Fully Stamped"Made in Czechoslovakia" (SPECIAL THANKS AND ACKNOWLEDGMENT TO KF FOR HELP AND GENEROUS GUIDANCE) Yeeeow! That's exactly what I said when I saw this lamp over the weekend. Came from an extremely well-appointed family estate auction held in the Midwest. The auctioneer told me he found it stacked in a box in one of the closets. It certainly could use a soft cleaning which I have not done and am selling this lamp exactly as purchased at auction. Condition is superb for its age with the exception of four missing glass beads of fruit on the backside.(photo #8) The original cord is pretty scary, too. It's frayed to death and ought be easy to replace. T are no other apologies to be made. The glass fruits and berries are extraordinary. Colours are vibrant, bountiful, and luscious. Fruit is perfectly "ripe". Rub red strawberry, and deep purple grapes contrast well with the amber and blue etched leaves of glass. Is truly cheerful and bright, and makes me smile every time. Glass beads are securely wired. Base beading is fully intact, and the interior is exceptionally clean. T is some wear to the bottom of the lamp around the outer edges. It's weighty and feels substantial to hold in your hands. The tiny feet on the base are solid and intact. Darling feet. Approx. Measurements
