For your consideration I offer thisAWESOME VINTAGE FROM THE LATE 1800s!!!!! BURL WOOD DENTAL TRAY TABLE WHICH WOULD ALSO MAKE A GREAT MAGICIAN'S CLOSE UP TABLE On one side it has four small drawers: the first drawer has a long white divided porcelain tray which has some crazing* but no chips or cracks The second drawer has a velvet lining. The third drawer has three small individual porcelain trays, all of which have crazing* and one has a chip The fourth drawer has a wooden divider in it. The other side has one larger drawer with a wood tray with small holes in it. It believe it was meant to hold the drill bits The bottom has the original hardware for mounting on the swing arm near the dentist chair. Unfortunately I ran out of picture space but I'll email the picture if you like. The overall condition is fabulous for being well over one hundred years old. The drawers and sides appear to be burl wood, which is just awesome. I believe the top, bottom and moulding are oak. As shown in the pictures the top and one corner have a split from age; however, this does not take away from the beauty of this piece (if it were to be used t would be a pad on the top). This would also make a great close up table for a magician. It would definitely be a one of a kind table for a magic show. The measurements are 13 1/2" wide X 13 1/2" long X 4" high This would make a great addition to any collection ALONG WITH LISTING MY OWN ITEMS I AM NOW CLEARING OUT MY AUNT'S ESTATE, FROM ATTIC TO CELLAR. This is a natural condition that develops as the ceramic material ages. Some pieces will become "crazed" at a faster rate than others. Many factors of production as well as the humidity of the environment w the figurine is displayed can play a part in this process.
