Antique Dentil Molding / Pediment Very Large - C. 1855 Architectural Salvage. The dimensions are 44 1/2" x 6 1/8" deep x 7 1/4" tall, and the blocks are 2 7/8" x 2 5/8" deep x 4 1/2" tall. This piece is very heavy, made of solid fir and all blocks are complete and fully intact and there is no rot whatsoever. They have an aged original white painted patina and finish and these are absolutely beautiful and very rare! This is some of the best dentil molding we have ever had due to the size, the deep roof overhang and the roof always being well maintained.These were removed from a residence built in 1855 and was the very first masonry residence ever built in Dekalb county, IL . The home was designed and built in the Renaissance Revival Style.They are in Great condition with a beautiful old patina and is ready for display, use or your next restoration project.
