This antique desk blotter has a piece of decorative paper in it that I got at the art store. Don't worry, you can take it out and put in whatever paper blotter, wallpaper, or decorative paper you like. This is an art-nouveau style desk item that came from the estate of a woman who died last year at 102 years of age. T was no family to tell me if it is from the period, so I can't swear that it is early 20th century, but t is such a patina on the metal - ooo lah lah!! I don't want to clean it or try to polish it off, so it's up to you to determine if it might be copper, brass, etc. The blotter is in excellent condition with all four corners well attached and in good shape. It measures 14 x 20. It will enhance your desk with a lovely antique touch. I'm delighted to reduce shipping on combined purchases if you'd like to look at my other auctions.
