this is a DeVILBISS model #114 nasal and throat medical atomizer. in the old days a doctor would give you a liquid medicine of some sort for your nasal passage or for your throat and you would fill this atomizer with the medicine and administer it by inserting the stem in your nose or by opening your mouth and then squeeze the rubber bulb on the back of it and it would shoot a fine spray of medicine in the area needed. this atomizer is in great condition. the rubber bulb has no dry rot at all and it infact still works. when you squeeze the bulb you can feel a puff of air come out the applicator spout. this is a great piece of antique american medical history and would make a great collector piece or gift for a doctors office.
