Antique Dewdrop & Petal Glass Oil/Kerosene Lamp Th is antique pattern glass oil lamp is in very good condition. T is some roughness on the inside of the foot. T are a few bubbles in the glass. These are characteristic of glass of this period. The glass a purple tint. Manganese used in the production of glass at this time will cause the glass to turn purple after many years of exposure to light. The Dewdrop & Petal pattern dates circa 1900. This lamp patern appears in Catherine Thuro's book, Oil Lamps I on page 304. This lamp measures 9 1/2 inches to the top of the collar. The collar is a number 2 size, insert. It measures 1 1/4 inches in diameter. The lamp is marked Pat. App'd For on the glass around the collar. Please see the pictures and feel free to email us if you have any questions.
