I will start by saying I know very little about this item.It was purchased at an auction w they were selling outdated and antique items that were in Hook's drug store in Indianapolis,Indiana.I was told this was used to crush pills.It has a cast iron base and is approx.20" tall.Brass tag says "Disper-Mill Travis Process Corp.Jersey City,New Jersey.S.N. 150" A small brass tag on base says Diamont Tools Newark,NJ.It does work but makes a electric smell when running.Runs at very high speed.Base has some paint chips as you can see in pictures.I don't really know what else to say about it, I have never seen anything like it before.Shipping cost might be high,It weighs approx.40lbs.
