Field Surgeon's Medical Bag/Instruments Up for auction is what I believe to be, a field surgeon's medical bag and severalseparate sets of surgical instruments. Thelarge bag, which is some sort of reptile isin good condition. Small amount of wearing on the bottom edges. Zippered closure withgold zipper pull. T is inscriptions on both sides of the gold pull, I am not ableto read what it says. Inside of the leatherbag is in good condition. One side pocketliner. One handle needs to be restitchedw it is attached to the ring.T are 6 separate cloth pouchesthat hold surgical instruments. 3 of theseare made of a cotton linen type cloth. 3 larger ones are of some sort of thickflannel. Each pouch has stitched linesto keep the instruments in order. Thesepouches are very dirty but I am surethey can be cleaned or replaced.When viewing the pictures, I haveplaced them in this order.1)Bag & Instruments2) written on pouch, SH, 13 instruments3) Written on pouch, R.P.O., 8 instruments4)Written on pouch, Enucleation 15 instruments5) Pouch is a different textile, probably flannel,13 instruments.6) 23 instruments, 7) 23 instruments,8) 20 instru.Also included were several wooden toothpicks.Approx. 92 instruments.
