Up for auction is a nice antique Candy Counter Dodge Mfg. 5 lbs. Micrometer Scale. Latest Patent Date is 1903. Cast Iron Base. Plate is likely milk glass.Measures 17 inches wide. 9 inches tall with the handle all the way down. 9 inches deep.Tested with a couple of items and measured accurately to the ounce. The level with bubble is intact and works fine. Cast iron base has wear. Judging by underneath, may have been black at one time. Knob and ounce wheel turn freely, could use some cleaning. The plate I believe is some sort of milk glass. May have been replacement for a marble plate. Check out pictures. Sold as is.It is quite heavy. Over 20 pounds packed. Local Pickup is an option. Located in Connecticut.
