This delightful very handsome antique Armand Marseille 985 Germany 8 Baby Boy Doll is Large 19" tall. This little character has his original mohair wig. The doll has wonderful color. The doll has multi-stroke eye brows, original open and sleep glass brown eyes, upper and lower lashes, tear duct, super rosy cheeks, a perfect nose, darling ears, and lovely lips on an open mouth with tongue and 2 square teeth. The doll is mold marked A M 985 Germany 8 on the back of the head. The head has passed the black and bright light test and shows NO Signs of Damage or repairs. There are NO chips, cracks, or hairlines on the bisque head.The doll has his original 5 piece composition bent limb slant hip body. The body is in nice shape with some crazing. The fingers on the right hand are perfect and free of any repairs. The left hand has some minor damage and composition loss on the first and pinky fingers. The doll appears to have its original paint. The doll is dressed in a very old green velvet shirt and brown velvet pants with metal buckles on the cuffs and a pair of under pants. The clothes are in nice shape with some fading and minor damage on the lace collar. The clothes lined and they are extremely well made and have hand stitches.
