Antique French porcelain bowl, Second Empire, Napoleon III period (1852-1870), brilliant white porcelain with gold crowned insignia crest of Napoleon III, measuring 9-3/4" in diameter x 3-5/8" high, round pedestal foot with gold trim, the crest is on both sides, marked on the base with the red decorator's mark: Dore a Sevres with the Napoleon III crest 59 (circa 1859), also marked with the Sevres green mark: S and the number is difficult to read, condition: there is a repair to the rim, see photos.
