A very rare Doulton chocolate pot with hand painted flowers to both sides followed by a light sponged gold effect to the back round. Transfered gold motifs with green ground to the bottom half of the pot have an oriental flair, a rare and beautiful pot! Standard impressed mark used on earthenware (but not on stoneware) made at the factory in Nile Street, Burslem. c.1882+ Measures 10 7/8" tall, 6 1/2 span to handle, 5 1/4" diameter to the base.
