is a very nice antique Drop or Slant Front Desk. It is made of Mahagony and Measures about 41" tall, 31" wide And 16" deep. The front drops down for a writing surface and shows the inner small drawers and cubbie holes. T is a door in the middle of the inside and on either side of it t is a "secret" hiding place (see picture). T are four serpentined drawers below the desk. These drawers are dovetailed. The feet are claw and ball. It appears all the hardware is original. T are surface scratches from use but no major damage. I just went over it with oil and it does appear very nice...it would be excellent if it were refinished but I feel it is fine the way it is. It is very solid. Great antique desk. Please pay via PAYPAL as soon as auction is over. This is a PICK UP ONLY item. I am located about 40 miles northwest of Chicago, Illinois. You can leave it in my home for as long as you may need, within reason, until you can pick it up.
