This box measures 9 by 6 by 11/2 inches. It is in very good shape.. The printing on the front is "All Havana Cabinet Selection No. 305". The printing on one side is the same as the front and the other is printed "Alfred Dunhill Of London Inc". The bottom has a stamp from City Clerk Hugh Gunn Factory 107 Coll. Dist Fla. There is another stamp which reads "The herein contained were manufactured to retail at more than fifteen cents each and not more than twenty cents and since each and are so tax paid".The stamp in the center of the box reads "Factory no. 107 Coll. Dist. State Of Florida. Notice the manufacturers of the cigars herein contained have complied with all the requirements of law. Cigars again or the stamp thereon again nor to remove the contents of this box without destroying said stamp under the penalties provided by law in such cases". We have found mention of Hugh Gunn in historic records online dating this box to the late part of the 1800's into the early part of the 20th Century.There are no cracks in the wood, but there is one small chip[ed out piece of wood at the back edge of the bottom piece. The hinges and clasp are in very good shape.
