This is THE most LOVELY & DELICATE CakeStand called Squat Pineapple aka Lone Star. Made by McKee & Bros c. 1892, it GLOWS just Beautifully and is absolutely Clear & SPARKLING! It is a very feminine style Cakestand with gently rolling ruffles that are comprised of small scallops. It drapes just beautifully! The design is quite intricate, reminding me of cathedral windows with great detail. The foot and pedestal is also full of detail and is a 4 part mold. Height is approximate 4.5 in. to top of ruffle and the diameter is approximately 8.75 in. The condition is without chips or knicks and very little in the way of use marks. The pattern is so complex you really don't see strawmarks and bubbles although I am sure they are in t somew This is a FABULOUS ~ FABULOUS Cakestand! She is feminine and ruffly and ready for some Valentine pastries or cakes! You would never dream she has been around for well over 100 years. Payment is due within 7 days of purchase please.
