Originally published in 1893 ...by Fort Dearborn Publishing Co. ..then in 1900 by H. Chandler....and this edition in 1901 by M.A. Donohoe & Co. .... The opening of the Cook Book has an INTRODUCTORY ....Which begins by saying.....T are many cook books upon the marked most of them good in their way but necessarily sectional in their composition and make up. It is a well-known fact that New England cookery differs from that of the Southern and Western states.
