Antique Eastman Kodak No 2A Model B Brownie Box Camera and Instruction BookletThis is a Eastman Kodak No. 2A Brownie Model B basic box camera made of thick, leatherette-covered cardboard and introduced in 1911 by Eastman Kodak. The No. 2A Brownie saw a production run from 1907 to 1933. Last Patent was in 1916.This camera has not been tested and is being sold as is.It comes with the original 38 page instruction booklet.It is in Excellent Pre-owned Condition.See pictures for more Details.The brownie was one of the most popular cameras of the time!From Historic Camera:The No. 2A Brownie Camera was manufactured by the Eastman Kodak Company from 1901 to1933. Similar to the No. 1 except larger and with more capability. The No. 2A Brownie took six exposures on No. 120 film 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 inches without reloading. Features included a meniscus lens, fixed focus, Eastman rotary shutter, and two finders. It is Covered in imitation leather with nickeled hardware.The box camera measures approx. 3 1/4 x 4 x 5 5/8 inches and weighs approx. 1lb. 4.6oz. Original No. 2 BROWNIE Camera was constructed of wood until 1924 at which time it was constructed from aluminum with model F. In 1929 Kodak introduced the No. 2A Brownie with 5 different colors. Originally priced at $2.00. Later modelsintroduced sold up to $2.75.
