The ring is from the early 1900s and is 10k yellow gold set with a Emerald Cut Ruby Red stone. This ring was made by Ostby Barton, which is know for their exquisite jewelry craftsmanship and is highly sought after by collector s. The face of the ring is 12mm by 12mm. This ring is a size 4 and is ideal for a pinky ring or could easily be size by your jeweler. The inside of the band is clearly marked OB 10 K and is guaranteed to be as described. The stone has not been tested and I believe is a synthetic ruby as there are some light surface scratches visible with a loupe on the face of the stone . There is no other damage to the gold mounting and this ring is in very good estate condition and has never been abused.
