This auction is for a lovely antique French Edwardian era creamy ivory silk pleated trim. It has very fine ribbed lines running horizontally throughout and is in very good condition with no rips tears or stains, however, about 2.5" at the very top needs machine stitching to reinforce since the threads came out; t is a very tiny area toward the end as well; these are minor repairs.. This is not a flimsy silk; it is a bit thicker sort of like a faille. This was salvaged from a garment French in origin. It has a thick thread running through its center to keep the pleats intact. You will have to iron some of the pleats down to restore since I have a broken wrist for months and cannot do it. This measures approximately 32" x 2 3/8" (this is the last of this) . It has stitching at the very top of the textile and is also hemmed at the bottom (about a little more than 1/4"). The pleats are about 1/4". This is a very desirable textile for doll costumers. S&H is $2.25
