Beautiful Edwardian - Art Nouveau drop dangle earrings with a very elegant and artistically designed snake head pointing downward. The drop dangle earrings have great movement from a hinged section and were made with a screw back closure. They are signed with an early makers mark for German jewelry maker Andreus Daub a German goldsmith and jewelry maker who began making jewelry in 1878. His company was known for its quality snake coil bracelets. Here is a rare example of his snake design on earrings, designed and made by Andreas Daub in the early 1900s in a 18K rolled and filled gold earring that tests as 9K gold. Early stamp dates earrings to the Edwardian - Art Nouveau period early 1900s The Daub family still produces quality jewelry but use the A*D makers mark with DAUB, a mark used after Andreas Daub died and still used today. Please see photos as best description , earrings have an approximate two inch drop.Thank you for viewing, Maine Military.Paypal payment is due within three days.Money back refund policy.Posted with eBay Mobile
