Art Deco GE 12" Antique Electric Fan with Pedestal This "one of a kind" piece has an all original GE 12" fan attached to a beautiful black pedestal. The 12" GE (model #FM12V1) with vortalex blades makes this fan circa 1947. It has 3 speeds, oscillates, and with these perfectly balanced vortalex blades - the fan runs very smoothly. The restoration includes lubrication of oscillator gears, cleaning and oiling of bearings, allignment and painting of blades, painting with gold and black colors with professional grade enamel topped with a laquered surface for durability, integrity of motor windings verified, and is assembled with new cord and vintage plug. The fan sits atop a classy art deco pedestal. The height is 42 1/2" including the fan and the base is 18" in diameter. The pedestal allows the fan to move about safely with great stability. With its desirable size and weight it is easily mobile. The fan can also be removed from the pedestal if needed. This fan would make such a classy statement in any home.
