You are bidding on an Antique Crotch Mahogany Curio China Cabinet Display Case Bookcase. This piece is a RARE find because of its size, age and beauty and dates back to the Early Empire Period Circa 1830 and was American made and probably New York province. This was made of the HIGHEST quality and is GORGEOUS flame mahogany all throughout the piece as shown in the photos. It has BEAUTIFUL tapered columns on each side with a bracket base. It has 2 beautiful glass doors with shelving on the inside that is all velvet lined fitted interior as shown in the photos. The top has nicely recessed crown with beautifully raised side panels. The back has riased panels with all hand chamfered edges. Because of its size this piece can be used in a hallway or foyer, dining room, living room, study or office and accented anyw else throughout your home that I PROMISE will be a topic of conversation. It is from the 19th Century and does have some old minor repairs and imperfections which is what gives an antique its character. It has a beautiful and exotic flame / crotch swirl naturally figured mahogany wood grain pattern as you can see in the pictures and is one of the NICEST I have seen and all that flame mahogany is all throughout the entire piece from top to bottom and side to side. This piece was VERY WELL made with quality that surpasses anything that is made today and all wood construction but Please understand that this is an antique so it has some minor imperfections on it but overall this piece is in excellent shape. It measures approx 38 1/2 inches wide, 62 inches high and approx 18 inches deep.
