ANTIQUE NEW ENGLAND FOLK ART PRIMITIVE CHILDS' WOOD ROCKING HORSE IN ORIGINAL OLD WHITE-WASHED PAINT WITH ORIGINAL WOODEN ROCKER ARMS & WOOD SEAT. This is an authentic antique solid-wood double-horse Rocking Horse with one wood horse on either side and original wood seat and wood rocker arms at bottom (see pics), rocking horse is in original white-washed paint and faded black/grey accent paint for eyes-face-and saddle which have faded over time (see pics). There are wooden bars/dowels separating the 2 horses and the 2 rocker arms-the rockers and dowels are held in place by the original antique metal-cap hardware pieces (see pics). The piece appears all-original with no repaint-no repairs or restoration, with the exception that there is a replacement nail under the seat. There is one cap missing from dowel which separates horses head, piece is old and in very good condition for age/use, it has a few cracks and several small chips but overall a very nice Old New England primitive Folk Art piece for display and collection, because of age it is not well recommended for use but rather more of a primitive New England Folk Art collectible piece of art for display. Piece measures approx. 31" tall x16" tall x 11.5" wide. smoke/pet free home. Thank you.
