This auction is for a New England Pineapple Flint Glass Footed Spooner, New England Glass Co., Cambridge, MA., c. 1855-1870. This is a very fine flint glass footed spooner in one of the ten most popular Early American Pattern Glass patterns. It is brilliant and rings like a bell when "dinged" with a finger. This pattern is listed in "Early American Pattern Glass - Collector's Identification & Price Guide" by Reilly and Jenks; where a spooner lists for $45. I offer this example with no reserve and a Buy It Now. DIMENSIONS: The spooner stands 5" H. x 3 9/16" Dia. at the top. CONDITION: The condition is very good with minimal scratching and wear. The glass does show the imperfections found in all early flint glass. This includes; bubbles, straw marks, striations and bits of sand.
