Description: The following provides supplemental information and dimensions to the pictures displayed below. This piece is a round sterling silver tray with a decorative border and approximately nine and one-half (9 1/2) inches across at the widest points. The flat circular center is approximately six and one-quarter (6 1/4) inches in diameter. The tray is raised on three paw feet. The tray is approximately one and one-quarter (1 1/4) inches high at the outer rim and weighs a full one pound on my kitchen scale Origin: England and properly hallmarked. Please see the last picture for a magnified image of the complete set of hallmarks which are described as follows: EB & JB - Maker's mark Lion Passant - Assay mark indicating sterling silver Leopard Head - Indicating city of manufacture as London Letter S - This stylized date letter indicates a manufacture date of 1853 Left Facing Lady's Head - Indicates the reign of Queen Victoria Age: 155 Years Condition: Very good. No dents, dings, or pitting. Only very slight signs of use in the center section. The tray has not been monogramed. I will hand polish the piece before it is wrapped for shipment and it should arrive at your door with a gleaming finish and ready to enjoy.
