Antique English, solid 9 carat rose gold mourning ring with twist shoulders, and set with lustrous natural pearls surrounding a glazed locket compartment containing a finely woven hair memento. Lovely quality, very collectable! CONDITION : All original and very good. Minimal wear commensurate with age and use. Could possibly do with a light clean. DEFECTS : An old sizing job has sheared at the back of the band, just requires a simple solder. DATE/MARKS : Around 1800. Not marked. DIMENSIONS : Head 16.8 x 12.2 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm).
