This Fabulous Barley Twist Bookcase is just in off a new container from English. See all of the pictures for details. The Bookcase are masculine are are constructed with English Oak. They have a rich deep Patina ...something that only age can give. The Bookcas is simply elegant and will add charm and character in any setting. The Cabinets were designed by craftsmen in the early 1900's and give the feel of an old stately Library ...or an exquisite Living or Dining Room Display. Two Drawers with original hardware are found below the Cabinet Doors. The Drawers have small keystones indicateing more age to the Bookcase. The Antiques are raised on Barley Twist Legs on all legs...a sign of quality and age. The legs are also joined with Barley Twist Brackets ...very nice touch...and an additional sign of a valued piece. The Doors are wavy Glass ...all in excellent condition. The double doors and side lights give the Antique a wonderful glass exposure ...allowing an excellent display of your special books, china or other treasured collectables. The Cabinet has Original Hardware ...with Lock and Key. The cornice at the top of the Cabinet is carved. The Bookcases feature pierced carving on the apron . Really Stunning and intricate. Size, Shipping, Questions The dimensions of both pieces is 48 1/2" Tall, 43 3/4" Wide, and 15 3/4" deep (with trim 15"). The cabinet is absolutely beautiful.
