is this antique cigar tin. On the lid it reads: A SLICE TO A PIPEFUL CONVENIENT CHOICE QUALITY IT FITS THE POCKET OLD ENGLISH CURVE CUT PIPE TOBACCO. This is on both sides except the back also has the factory no 2 and patented in usa May 20 1899. On the inside of the lid it reads: HOW TO SMOKE OLD ENGLISH CURVE CUT with the instructions. The tin is curved just like it says so it can fit in your pocket and not crush the cigars. The tin is rusted and has scratches, but would look great for a display.
