This beautiful Secretary just in off a new container from England features beatutiful Mahogany ... and is very sturdy. Burled trim is used on each side of the drop front desk area. The Drop Front Desk has desk supports that automatically come out when drop front is lowered to open the desk. With the desk open it reveals a generous desk with a leather surface and lots of cubby holes to hold all of your writing and storage needs. The desk top also has asmall drawer. Below the desk are three drawers for all kinds of storage needs. The drawers are keystoned...a sign of quality and age. The carved Queen Anne feet are on all four legs ...not just on the front as in less quality pieces. The back of the lovely secretary is also wood. All of the Hardware is Original and has patina that Only Age can give. The secretary is a perfect size at 39 1/2" Tall, 30" Wide and 16 1/2" Deep. Desk open 28 1/2".
