Look at the beautiful barley twist columns. The tiger oak grain runs throughout this entire place. This bed is on casters which are large and very sturdy. This lovely Jacobean-style oak barleytwist bed was hand-crafted in England around 1920. Since then, the wood has acquired a rich patina which compliments the tiger oak grain quite nicely. The barley twist columns were crafted beautifully. The foot board has nice Jacobean panels which adds to it's charm. This bed sits atop flattened bun feet and large casters which makes this piece easily movable. The steel braces and bolt-on bed rails make this bed extremely sturdy.
