ANTIQUE ENGLISH GEORGIAN GOLD HEART SHAPED HAIR LOCKET A wonderful, tiny antique Georgian English, solid 9 carat gold heart-shaped locket pendant; beautifully made, glazed with its original gently rounded glasses, and hingeing open to allow access. Contains a finely woven hair memento and a sepia image of an old seagoing ship - hair appears original to the locket, not 100% sure about the ship. A high quality, totally original Georgian heart locket in terrific original condition! CONDITION : All original and very good. Slightest signs of wear, no damage. Hinge & closure spot on. Ink damage to picture. DEFECTS : None. DATE/MARKS : Around 1800. Not marked. DIMENSIONS : 24 x 15 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.
