Up for sale is an antique English handmade green glass "dump" paperweight circa 1840-1900. It measures almost 3" wide and 1 1/2" tall and weighs 10.5 oz. The paperweight is handmade of green bottle glass and features a sulphide horseshoe in its center. It does contain various bubbles in the glass and has a deep pontil mark in the center of its concave base. The horseshoe sulphide has many small and larger bubbles on its surface giving it a silver appearance. These were trapped when the sulphide was inserted. Unknown maker and age. It has very little surface wear and base wear given its age. No cracks or chips are seen. There are many fine bubbles in the glass. This is a fantastic example of an antique green dump and would make a great addition to any collection.I strive to sell items at the lowest price on Ebay or the entire internet for that matter.
