Authentic Antique English Staffordshire King Charles Spaniel Dog This Staffordshire dog is a real beauty with a great facial expression. It is old and shows signs of wear. T is crazing throughout and a fairly large chip on the base. The crazing and small dings are to the glaze only. T are no structural cracks and t is only the one chip on the dog's foot. The chip on the tail is only on the glaze, not the actual ceramic below. The dog measures 6" high x 4" wide x 3" deep. T have been no repairs or restoration to this figurine.My mom gave this Staffordshire dog to me many years ago because I love animals and my family's old objects. I do notknow if it was originally purchased back in the day by my GreatGrandmother or collected by my Mother, Aunts or Grandmother. My mother's side of the family is full of avid knowledgeable collectors and I have ended up with some of their collection. My mom and I are simplifying our homes and only keeping a few of our favorite pieces. All the rest will hopefully go to people who love and appreciate the items as much as we have throughout the years and generations. Thanks for looking.
