ANTIQUE ENGLISH VICTORIAN 9K GOLD SENTIMENTAL MIZPAH RING c1885 NO RESERVE A wonderful quality antique English, solid 9 carat gold ring; beautifully made, and reading 'Mizpah' in applied raised Gothic lettering. Mizpah was a popular sentiment in Victorian (and later) times which translates as 'God watch between us when we are parted'. Lovely quality, beautiful and so very wearable! CONDITION : All original and very good. Slight wear commensurate with age & use, possible old sizing to back of band - of no consequence. DEFECTS : None. DATE/MARKS : English hallmark for B'ham 1885. Maker's marks SHS. DIMENSIONS : Head 8 mm wide (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or � of an inch diameter. RING SIZE : M or 6 � US (easily sized).
